Pigeons in city
This project investigates the attitudes of residents around the moor in Sheffield towards pigeons, advocates a participatory design approach from the perspective of pigeons, and attempts to design a win-win situation for pigeons and humans through the installation.
Three main ideas to utilize to change pigeons’ existing position.① Lifting feeder
A feeder enable pigeons can be
attracted by food to a higher level.② Nesting net
An installation modified the structure of tree try to attract pigeons to nest there.③ Brick habitat
Integrating habitats directly into new construction in the form of special bricks.
